Jacob's Ladder Outreach was named after and created in loving memory of Jacob Cardarelli. He was a beautiful soul who lost his life to overdosing on a narcotic laced with the deadly drug called fentanyl. In an instant, he was gone.

Jacob was very involved with health and fitness, started his own fitness company, and had his whole life ahead of him. Jacob loved Jesus but struggled with making the right choices for himself. He was handsome, popular, and kind. Jacob went through rehab several times and was trying to stay clean.

Tragically, a single decision to reunite with friends after rehab proved fatal. Jacob's legacy lives on, inspiring others to reflect on their choices. May his story encourage individuals to seek a life of serenity and prosperity, free from the grip of drugs and alcohol. August 31st is Drug Overdose Awareness Day and ironically falls on the very day Jacob was born.
